Beaded Necklace with Drop Detail

Skills required/taught: Crimping, threading, opening and closing jump rings, making loops in headpins.

Tools required: chain nose and round nose pliers and wire cutters.

Materials needed:
50cm of tiger tail thread
1 x lobster clasp
8 x jump rings
2 x crimps
5 x headpins
5 short pieces of chain (cut to your desired length)
Link of your choosing
Mix of beads of your choosing

Step 1:
To make the feature pendant add one bead to each headpin and loop. Attach each headpin to a piece of chain. Using a jump ring, attach each length of chain to the link. Add a single jump ring to the link.

Step 2:
Attach the jump ring onto one end of the tiger tail using a crimp. Add the beads until you are half way along the length. Add the pendant detail and continue threading beads until you reach the length you require.

Step 3:
Using a crimp, add the remaining jump ring. Your necklace is now complete!
