The finish you choose for your necklace or bracelet will depend on the overall style and purpose for the piece of jewellery.

Below are descriptions of the different options:

Basic crimp finish:
This is the simplest and easiest finish to use and is suitable for pieces of jewellery where the whole piece of thread will be filled with beads, hiding the tail end.

Callot finish:
Callots have aesthetic as well as practical uses. They give your jewellery a high-quality finished look without the chance of thread ends poking out between beads as well as being useful when making multi strand necklaces and bracelets. Like most findings, callots come in a range of metal colours, shapes and sizes.

Gimp wire:
Gimp wire, also known as French wire or bullion wire, is a fine, coiled wire traditionally used in jewellery making to protect threads or beading wires from wear and tear, especially at clasp connections. It adds a professional finish and enhances durability.
