Skills required/taught: crimping, using callots and opening and closing jump rings
Chain nosed pliers require
Materials needed:
2 x 25cm tiger tail thread
2 x callots
1 x lobster clasp
2 x jump rings
At least 26 x 2mm crimps (2 crimps per bead plus two crimps for the ends)
Minimum 12 beads
Step 1:
The following instructions should be repeated on both strands of tigertail. Add a crimp to the middle of the tigertail, crimp and add a bead. This is your centre bead. Add a crimp to the other side of the bead and crimp.
Step 2:
Decide on the distance you would like between the beads. Add a crimp at the distance you want between beads and crimp. Add the bead and then a crimp. Repeat on the opposite side. Continue until all the beads are added. You may choose to leave the same length gaps on both strands or do different length gaps.
Step 3:
Once you have added all the beads add a callot onto both strands, followed by a crimp (on both strands). Crimp 2mm from the end of the threads and feed the callot over the crimp. Repeat on the other side. Add the lobster clasp on one end with the jump ring and a jump ring on the other. Your bracelet is now complete.
