Head Pin Drop Necklace

Skills required/taught: Making loops in headpins, opening and closing loops and jump rings

Tools required: chain nose and round nose pliers and wire cutters.

Materials needed:
Necklace length of your choosing (make sure the links are large enough for the head pin to fit through)

Mix of beads of your choosing

One head pin for every bead
In this design I have used 32 beads and 32 headpins
Extension chain - optional

Step 1:

Add one bead onto each headpin and use the round nose pliers to make loops in the end of each head pin. If you are unsure of how to make loops in wire, check out this handy guide.

Step 2:

Decide where you want the beads to go on the chain. Open each loop that you created and hook onto the chain. Close the loop making sure that they are fully closed.

Step 3:

Continue until all the beads have been added to the necklace. If you are using an extension chain, add one bead onto the end for added detail.
